Tip: if you hear noise when using the microphone, the microphone volume is set too high. This amplifies ambient sound, which you then hear as noise. You can easily lower the microphone volume using the round + and - buttons on the microphone itself, and, if needed, raise the listener's volume on the headphone or your audio device. This way you're assured of clean, noise-free sound.
